Your data, and what we do with it

We keep data collection light and explain it clearly. This notice covers what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

Who we are

Terrace Odds is an independent betting comparison site. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the controller of the limited personal data described here. You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
  • Usage data. With your consent, basic analytics about how pages are used and which links to operators are followed — this helps us improve the site and account for affiliate referrals.
  • Technical data. Standard information your browser sends, such as device and approximate region, used to serve and secure the site.

We do not ask for special-category data, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To answer your enquiries — on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding, or steps taken at your request.
  • To measure and improve the site and track affiliate referrals — on the basis of your consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • To keep the site secure and working — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running it safely.

Affiliate tracking

When you follow an operator link, the operator may set its own identifiers to attribute the referral. That processing is governed by the operator’s own privacy policy. Our role is explained in the affiliate disclosure.

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (for example, hosting and analytics) under appropriate agreements, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate or for a limited period in line with our provider’s settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent at any time, and request portability. To exercise any of these, contact us and we’ll respond within the statutory timeframe. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies are covered separately in our cookie policy, including how to change your choices.
